I joined the Taco Bell team at Laundry Service and jumped right into concept review and pre-production for a new spot, featuring the new Caliente Cantina Chicken Menu. We partnered with the talented (especially for her age!) Ash Xu, a Content Creator known for making “thirst traps” out of everyday food, to direct and edit the spot. While this one was a much smaller set than other TV productions, the more pared-back quality made the spot feel fresh and more in line with internet-forward editing styles.

You wouldn’t have any idea I was sneezing spices for days.

Next, we worked with the super-talented Pavel Krikunov for a few sweltering hot days on a Brooklyn rooftop shooting a spot for the $5, $7 and $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes. This was absolutely the most food we’ve ever had to coordinate styling for at once, which was a feat in and of itself—but it’s a testament to our amazing clients and crew that everything turned out absolutely pitch-perfect. Seeing some of these shots in-camera actually made me gasp (and many more didn’t make the cut!!) BTS post here. I absolutely LIVE to yell “that’s a wrap.”

There’s so much possibility when you believe in a Content Creator’s vision and shake up the status quo. This is your sign to hire talent you admire to make your next spot!
